Quinn Bellamy of the Silver Lake Marine, huddled with Doug Kelly at the Silver Lake Public Boat Launch at State Park.to coordinate the preparations for the off season. Both concluded that they needed to pull the state launch ramp dock sooner than normal and were planning to do so next week. Mark Emmerson of the Silver Lake Association asked them to leave the launches in an extra weekend to give the Lakers a bit more time to get their boats out. They agreed to leave them in through through Sunday, October 4th. They will be pulled on October 5th. Looking toward community leaders and local news media, Mark asked, "Will you please start spreading the word? There are still a lot of boats on the lake and now just two weekends remaining to get them pulled."
